Serial number 2429133-5 dates this classic Underwood original typewriter at between July, 1908 and May 1909.The space bar moves and the keys work, as does the carriage bar. It has 2 ribbon spools still threaded. Could use a good dusting – blow dryers work well for this.
Great conversation piece.
Also included is a vintage hand crank adding machine, and hole punch.
Condition
Condition is fair to good, considering the age of this machine. This classic design was the prototype for all typewriters until the 1960s.
