An original oil painting on stretched canvas by listed artist Antonius Raemaekers (1903-97) depicting an algae covered pond under a stormy sky. The piece is signed to the lower left, and is presented in a gilded wood frame from Closson’s of Cincinnati. Dated under the signature. Appears to read ‘July, ’50’.

Condition

- Fair, area of rubbed canvas to bottom right, some frame scratches and small spots of paint loss.
