Mahogany Inlaid Federal Style Dining Table

Item Details

A fine inlaid Federal style mahogany dining table, having a ribbon-grained top with a reeded edge, over a band and string inlaid apron. The piece is supported on double pedestals with reeded urns on three splayed legs with waterleaf carving, in the manner of Duncan Phyfe. The extension top has two self-storing leaves with reeded edges. Though unmarked, this table was has been associated with similar pieces, by the Mersman Bros. Corp., Celina, Ohio. Circa 1932.
