A lovely original impasto painting on stretched canvas depicting a Victorian beach scene signed by Marie Charlotte to the lower right-hand corner. This highly texturized alla prima work of art is executed using pallet knife techniques in a pastel pallet. Two figures in the foreground are rendered with a large bouquet of flowers. The canvas is housed in a wide beveled wood frame, with a pink painted finish and linen trim to the interior edge.
