Item Details
An original WWI Victory Liberty Loan color lithograph propaganda poster print by artist Alfred Everitt Orr (b. 1886), dating to 1918. The print features an American soldier embracing his wife and son with the slogan running along the top ‘For Home and Country’ and to the bottom ‘Victory Liberty Loan’. Artist signature and date to print along the lower right hand corner. The poster was printed by American Lithographic Company of New York and numbered C-2. The poster is unframed, protected in acetate and foam core board.
