A reproduction map of military posts in the southwest between 1850-1890. The map covers the territories of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado and part of Texas, Nevada and California. Titled Military Posts of the Old Frontier, 1850-1890, on yellowed paper. The original of this map was produced referencing a map of the district of New Mexico from 1875 and a map from the General Land Office from 1869. Framed in wood painted black under glass with a wire hanger on the back, this color offset lithograph was printed in 1960.
