A wonderful antique hickory wood bread box with lid is fabricated with dovetail construction, hand made nails, some square and some round. The box has evidence of hand worked details such as the two hand carved openings for handles on each side along with two handcrafted handles on lid which are fastened with handmade nails. Old fashioned design and style, perfect for today’s organization needs like storing magazines, toys and blankets.

Condition

some splits in the wood boards from age and a wood handle on the lid has some separation where the nails are placed.
