Original oil on canvas by listed artist, Richard Wagner (Ohio 1923-2009) titled, ‘Beach Lights’, is signed in the lower right quadrant. This modern Impressionistic painting depicts the quintessential beach front of the Gulf Coast of Florida captured a long time ago in hues of tropical blues, teals, and green juxtaposed with the soft white sand. This painting is framed with a distressed driftwood like wood frame with canvas linen liner. On the verso is the Wagner Studio label. See photo. The artist’s work is found in many private and public collections, museum exhibits, namely the Museum of Modern Art, New York, national art galleries and solo exhibitions. He taught art at Dartmouth College and other Universities.
