1950's Syroco "Old Codger" Figural Corkscrew

A 1950’s Syroco ‘Old Codger’ figural corkscrew made by the Syracuse Ornamental Company of Syracuse, New York. This highly detailed figural corkscrew depicts a well dressed man with a sly smile dressed in a tuxedo, top hat and cane with a cleverly hidden corkscrew. This piece is designed in a composition of wood powder and thermoset resin set up in a compression mold.
Condition
Wear consistent with age with nicks, loss of material and loss of finish.
