Item Details

A beautifully inlaid antique satinwood drop leaf table. The top is quarter veneered with stunning inlaid decoration, including a large central coquille motif with surrounding paterae, and scrolling vines and arabesques; the leaves to either side have similar decoration. There are two drawers with hand-cut dovetails and escutcheons with ornate floral garland inlays. The piece stands on a trestle base with inlaid saber legs terminating in brass sabots and casters.
