An early 1900s sidewinder style wall phone by Western Electric, housed in a handsome walnut case with a hinged door. The sidewinder style telephone was operated by turning the crank magneto, which signaled an operator. The caller would speak into the central brass mounted transmitter, and listen with the hand held speaker. This telephone has been converted into a usable contemporary dial phone. The dial works are hidden behind the telephone door. Item is untested.
Has been converted to a dial phone inside.
