Original Shirley Russell Watercolor Still Life
Item Details
A lovely original watercolor painting by well-listed American artist Shirley Russell (1886 – 1985). This floral still life features a bouquet of wildflowers in a painted white vase. Russell’s signature is in paint to the lower left-hand corner. Presented behind teal mat, under glass, in a gold tone wooden frame with foliage applique detail. Russell studied Fine Art at Stanford University, the California School of Arts and Crafts, and Academie Julian in Paris, 1937 to 1938. - minor surface damage to the edge of the frame.
