This charming work is painting in a Post-Impressionistic impasto style, and depicts a black-and-white Holstein grazing in the foreground. A second cow stands in the mid ground with a dark treeline to the back. The painting is signed to the lower right, and is beautifully framed in a crackle finished, dark, painted frame with distressed gilt filet.
