A chromolithograph of A gleam before the storm by B.W. Leader. Benjamin Williams Leader (English, 1831-1923) was known for his landscape paintings. This lithograph, taken from the 1901 painting, depicts a pastoral scene in the midst of an oncoming storm. The print is matted and set in a gold painted wooden frame behind glass.

Condition

The matte and print have some yellowing, and there are spots on the matte. Scratches on the frame and some missing gilt.
