A Black & White Scotch Whisky ‘Moving Scotties In-the-Carton.’ A fun piece of advertising, this cute piece is a tin box, designed to look like the box in which Black & White Scotch Whisky is shipped. When plugged in, internal gears start moving and the lid rises to reveal two dogs – a black and a white – who move their heads back and forth and bark a small squeaky bark. A knob on the back allows the bark to be muted, so the dogs just move their heads and open their mouths. It is marked on the back at the bottom ‘Sign & Marketing Corporation / 520 North Michigan / Chicago, IL 60611 / Made in Japan.’ The unit comes in its original box with an original order form. Worked when tested.
