Dessert Plates and Alabaster Bowl
Item Details
A collection of six Haviland China dessert plates and a unique alabaster dish. The plates have a white background with a central medallion in gold filigree accented with three green flowers in the background. Around the rim is gold scroll filigree interspersed with bright green. The labels on the back read ‘H & Co., L, France’ and ‘Haviland & Co., Arthur Kaye, Louisville, KY’. The alabaster dish is cream colored with swirls of gray and white through the stone, including on the matching, tapered pedestal.
Condition
Wear consistent with age and use; some worn and fading paint. One plate has a small chip. Alabaster dish has some staining on the surface and underside. Very light chipping on the rim.
