An antique Haviland France china service consists of twelve, four-piece place settings. The set includes twelve 9.5’ dinner plates, twelve 7.5’ dessert or salad plates, twelve 5.5’ saucers and twelve 4.5’ cups; also included is a covered server and gravy boat with attached base. All of the dishes have scalloped and beaded edges and the covered serving dish has a pretty applied bow knob on the lid. Two quilted storage bags for dishes are included.The mark on this china spans the years 1894-1931 and this set is reported to be a wedding gift from 1900.
Condition
Most of the china service is chip free however two dinner plates have chips and the covered serving dish has a surface crack and chips to base and lid.
