A wonderful collection of ten antique and vintage McGuffey’s Reader books. Included in this group is McGuffey’s ‘New Second Eclectic Reader’ published by Van Antwerp, Bragg & Co., Cincinnati 1865; ‘Newly Revised Eclectic Fourth Reader’ published by Winthrop B. Smith & Co., Cincinnati 1853; ‘First Eclectic Reader Revised Edition’ published American Book Company, Cincinnati, 1879; McGuffey’s ‘Eclectic Primer’ published by American Book Company, Cincinnati, 1909; and McGuffey’s First through Sixth ‘Eclectic Reader’ published by American Book Company, 1920.

Condition

The four antique books show a lot of wear and some torn pages. The six books from 1920 are in good condition.
