A signed and numbered photo offset lithography print after a collage titled Boogie Blues by well-listed artist James Denmark (March 23, 1936- ). Denmark, skilled in collage and watercolors, grew up in an artistic home and earned his Masters degree at Pratt Institute of Fine Art in New York and has original work in museums and galleries internationally, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This print features a jazz quartet in the artist’s characteristic style, depicted in brightly colored paper, playing guitar, stand up bass, saxophone and singing. The piece is signed in plate to the bottom and pencil signed, titled and numbered 32 in an edition of 950 below the print. It is presented in a white raised mat and beveled gilt frame with acanthus leaf trim.
