Item Details
A vintage transit, tripod base and case by Eugene Dietzgen Company. This surveying tool is thought to be an Engineers Transit with level attachment and vertical arc or a Transit Theodolite. Marked model #16040, the wood case includes white canvas straps and the brass Dietzgen trademark plate, with engraved with PRC initials on top of case. All brass instrument areas a painted black, and tool includes a folding measuring stick, and shipping instructions.
