An antique Christian Moerlein stoneware bottle. The bottle features a natural tan colored stoneware base, brown glaze at top of bottle near rim, and an ornate transferware design to the front of the bottle. The front label is marked ‘Trademark The Christian Moerlein, Brewing Co, Cincinnati Ohio’, ‘Exhilarating, Stimulating, Rejuvenating, Wholesome, Delicious, & Pure’, and ‘Moerlein Old Jug Lager Bier’.
