Authentic Hoyt Hawkins Sage Green Suit

An authentic Hoyt Hawkins piece of memorabilia. Custom made performance suit made by Caster-Knott of Nashville, Tennessee. Performance top is a five button classic country style shirt with brushed nickel snap closure, and oversized collar. Fabric is a soft sage green denim, with ivory stitching. Rhinestones adorn breast pockets, cuffs, and collar. Inside collar are handwritten initials, H H H. Suit has matching denim style sage green pants.
Hoyt Hawkins was famously known as the handsome baritone for the quartet, The Jordanaires, Elvis Presley’s preferred back up singers. In April 1956, Elvis flew to Nashville to record, ‘I Want You, I Need You, I Love You’, and insisted he record with the Jordanaires. From there, Presley partnered with the quartet for the next 14 years, to include movie and television appearances. Hoyt Hawkins replaced recruit, Bob Hubbard in 1949, and was with the Jordanaires for 33 years, until his death in 1982.
Condition
Memorabilia kept in great condition, and well preserved. Like-new condition, given age and use of the piece.
