Antique Serapi Hand-Knotted Rug

Item Details

An antique 10’1” x 14’2” Serapi hand-knotted wool rug from the late 1800s. The rug is vegetable dyed wool in colors of brick, navy, sky blue and taupes, traditional center medallion pattern, and three borders in a geometric pattern.

Condition

The 100+ year rug has wear to the fringe and edges with some worn areas throughout, appropriate for its age and function.
