1991 "Star Trek" Pinball Machine with O'Connor Graphics

A 1991 Paramount Star Trek solid state pinball machine manufactured by Data East, and designed by Joe Kaminkow and Ed Cebula. This pinball machine has fabulous graphics by Kevin O’Connor and Margaret Hudson, and features two flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, two 4-bank drop targets, three balls, automatic plunger, swinging target, kick-out saucer, ramp diverter, and mechanical backbox animation, patented ‘Transporter Effect’ which uses a moving double layer of semi-transparent pictures. Mirror in the back of the playfield offers a better view of the top rollover. The graphics on the machine’s sides include space shot illustrations with Star Trek vehicles and the tagline ‘Where No Man Has Gone Before’ to the base. The top graphics include a holographic depiction of the Star Trek team under space transporters. This piece worked when tested.
