Ansonia "Army" Stacked Civil War Arms Clock

Item Details

A regal little circa 1895 Ansonia ‘Army’ novelty clock, the piece representing a group of stacked Civil War arms, with rifles, bayonets affixed and straps intact, slung with a bugle, a standard which suspends the drum shaped clock. The piece, more specifically, features a gold painted bronze triangular base, bronze rifle pillars and gilded trumpet flag connected by hook to Civil War drum-shaped paper dial, plain and having Roman numerals with 8-day movement.

Condition

Good overall aesthetically, untested works, the face is in the housing upside – down, soil on the face, etc.
