Pair of Framed Chinese Silk Art Ladies

Item Details

A pair of Chinese silk art pieces that each have two ladies. The first has a lady in pink and a lady n turquoise. The second piece has a lady in turquoise and yellow and one in white with a red collar. The faces are hand painted. These are inset in a deep oval matting of black with a golden insert and background. The outer matting is a mottled ivory. The frames are wood with an ebonized finish and both are under glass. These have beautiful pieces of silk in many colors to form each section of the lady and her attire. These were purchased in the 1960s and were believed to be antique at that time.
