A hand signed limited edition color photo offset lithograph titled Below the Breaking Dawn by the listed artist Frank C. McCarthy (b. 1924), numbered 921/1250 and printed 1990. McCarthy is a formally trained American artist well praised for his old Western subject matter. The print Below the Breaking Dawn depicts a group of Plains Native Americans returning home after raiding a neighboring tribe. The print double signed, once to print to the lower left corner and once in pencil to the lower right.
