Pair of Framed Antique Le Follet Fashion Prints

Item Details

A pair of lovely framed antique engravings from the 19th century French fashion magazine Le Follet (‘The Wisp’), which was published from 1829-1871. Both prints depict women’s fashions, specifically upper class ladies wearing fine dresses. Both are framed under glass in oval frames of wood with a black finish, with carved leaf and fruit designs around the sides.

Condition

- good to fair: the glass in one of the frames is cracked in half down the middle, otherwise only minor chips and wear to the frames, with no damage to the images themselves except slight discoloration to the paper.
