Vintage Mikado Hand Warmer and Two Others
Item Details
A lot of three hand warmers including a vintage example made by Mikado in shiny chrome. This item is marked Mikado and Made in Occupied Japan and features a stylized cut out design of a peacock on both sides. The condition is very good. There are no dents and the finish is very shiny. Occupied Japan was printed on pottery, porcelain, toys, and other goods made during the American occupation of Japan after World War II, from 1947 to 1952. The other two examples are more recent, manufactured by Aladdin, patented 1950, and one by Optimus International.
