"The Romance of Old Belgium" by Champney, 1915

A 1915 publication titled Romance of Old Belgium From Caesar To Kaiser by Elizabeth and Frere Champney, published with 90 illustrations by G. P. Putnam’s Sons, New York and London. The book is half bound in leather with marbled boards, marbled end papes and an elaborately gilt and embossed spine. The inside board has a book plate indicating the book to have once belonged to Louise Taft.

Condition

The book has a tight binding and a very clean interior. The extremities show wear at the edges, the spine and hinge.
