A remarkable and sizable painting by Australian Aboriginal artist Bruce Nabegeyo from the Djalama clan of the Kunwinjku tribe. His sacred body design is painted in his unique and highly sought after ‘X-ray’ style and most often depicts serpent or the brolga (a bird native to his region). This particular work features both serpent and brolga joined by fish painted in rich hues of gold and brown complimented with white on substantial speckled vermilion handmade paper. The work is presented in a custom dark wood frame with coordinating chocolate brown mat.
