A limited edition, two volume set titled The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, numbered 166/750 and signed by the illustrator Rockwell Kent (1882-1971). The Cambridge edition was edited by William Aldis Wright including temple notes and was published by Double Day & Co., Garden City, New York 1936. This is a scarce limited edition containing a preface by Christopher Morley. The 2-volume set is bound in dark blue cloth over beveled boards with the title gilt-lettered on a vellum label at the spine. The top page edges are gilt and the side edges are deckled, the work is complete with 38 fabulous full page plates and 2 color frontispieces.
