A splendid antique victorian Eastlake armoire or wardrobe circa 1880’s.
This beautiful antique armoire is a solid walnut with matched burled veneer panels. This piece is crowned with a cornice top over hand-carved floral and leaf motif. beneath the paneled doors are two pull-out drawers with dove-tailed seams and their original heavy brass decorative pulls with solid backplate. The interior of the wardrobe features a total of three adjustable shelves, ten brass treble hooks for hanging items. The panels inside are marked with masking tape and writing to mark the proper location of each panel and to allow the wardrobe to be disassembled and moved easily.
