Gorham "New Elegance" Silverplate Flatware Set
Item Details
A set of 52 Gorham New Elegance silverplate flatware. The pattern was started in 1947, featuring scrolled edges and sprouting leaves at the tip. The lot features eight of the following: knives, salad forks, dinner forks, and soup spoons; there are sixteen teaspoons, two serving spoons, a cheese knife, and a condiment spoon. Each piece is marked ‘Gorham Plate’ to the underside and ‘Sterling’ to the blades of the knives. The set is in a wooden box with maroon felt lining.
