Vintage Pince-Nez Eyeglasses
Item Details
A pair of pince-nez eyeglasses. The pince-nez style of eyeglass were quite fashionable around the turn of the century. This hard bridge pince-nez features two spring-loaded, metal nose pads. The bridge mechanism is fixed to the inside edge of both rimless lenses. The lenses are made of glass and offer very little in the way of vision correction, seemly made for primarily aesthetic reasons. The glasses come in a fitted, rigid case.
Condition
The case is quite worn and the lining on the inside is peeling.
