A vintage 1950s maple china hutch by O’Hearn Mfg. Co. of Gardner, Massachusetts. The O’ Hearn Manufacturing Co. was founded by a former executive of the famous Heywood Wakefield Company in 1923. O’Hearn produced maple furniture until it closed in 1966. This two-piece china hutch features three open shelves with scalloped sides and a seven board back on the upper case. The lower case has two small drawers and one large drawer with willow brasses, a scallop on the apron, decoratively turned legs, and a plain stretcher. The maple finish has a nice patina.
Condition
There is a split on the top that cannot be seen unless looked down upon. There are minor splits on the left and right sides, see photos.
