A charcoal drawing on paper from the portfolio of Robert O. Chadeayne (American, 1897-1981). The drawing depicts a woman nestled in a twin bed bathed in the light of a nearby window. The drawing was acquired as part of a portfolio from the Chadeayne family. Chadeayne was a professor at Ohio State University’s School of Fine and Applied Arts, and received many awards. He was born in New York, and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1927 to teach. Chadeayne is represented in the Columbus Hall of Fame.

Condition

Slight fold on one corner. Dark stains on right side .Tack holes in upper corners
