Ed Aub Original Bronze Sculpture, "Eternity (Mobius)"

An original signed and numbered limited edition bronze sculpture by artist Ed Aub, titled Eternity (Mobius), circa 1995. The definition of mobius is, ‘a one-sided surface that is constructed from a rectangle by holding one end fixed, rotating the opposite end through 180 degrees, and applying it to the first end.’ This piece is signed ‘AB 3/15’ to the side of the sculpture and is mounted to a base with an ebonized finish. Ed Aub was a Cincinnati businessman for over fifty years, later pursuing his interest in carving wood sculptures. For the last twenty years of his life, until his death in 2006 Aub worked with widely known Cincinnati sculptor Walter Dreisbach. Most of his works are based on the mobius concept and also include a series of masks.
