Antique Federal Style Pine 3/4 Canopy Bed Circa 1880s

Item Details

An antique pine four poster canopy bed or tester bed, circa 1880s. This American Federal style bed, in 3/4 size is designed with a triangular pediment headboard, four spindle bedposts and spindle footboard. A wood arched canopy includes a metal hinge for easy removal. Wood slats and board rest on the wood side rails. The bed includes a white cotton canopy cover and dust ruffle, as well as a Springwall mattress by the American Chiropractic Association. This bed is not sturdy and needs to be reinforced.

Condition

This bed is not sturdy and needs to be reinforced, however is a great candidate for repurposing. Wear consistent with age and use.
