19th Century Raingo Freres Mantel Clock

Item Details

A 19th century bronze mantel clock by Raingo Freres of Paris. The clock is gilded and has brass paneling to the sides and front. A young lady and boy decorate the top, the lady resting on a bench, the boy wielding a sword (missing). An ornate floral and foliate design decorates the front and the figural background. The clock is designed with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the seconds. Not in working condition.

Condition

- tarnish, spots of gilding loss, boy figure is missing his sword, female figure is missing her left arm, a small front screw is missing, no key is present. The clock is not in operating condition.
