Vintage Kachina Doll
Item Details
A hand-painted Kachina doll, carved from wood, dating from circa the 1960s. This piece depicts a figure painted white, with black buffalo horns and a buffalo fur hood (in fleece), wearing sea snail shells on leather strips, holding a rattle and raising one foot as if dancing. It is mounted on a wood base signed ‘T. Browne’ on the underside.
