Taxidermy Sub Adult Male Lion on Scenic Base
Item Details
A stunning taxidermy piece featuring a young teenager or sub adult male lion mounted to a scenic landscaped base replete with cast skull of unidentified ‘prey’. Finished with intensive care given to the recreation of musculature and structural framing of the lions body, and thus breathing life into his form. A pale golden color with darker guard hairs and ticking. His mane characteristically runs from belly to top of his neck ridge and remains thick with even darker tips. His facial reconstruction is striking and features exquisite glass eyes with special attention given to the fine delicate areas around the eyes, nose and mouth, and thus giving him an intent stare. The scenic base features a wood frame with textured stone area and dried grasses to complete this piece.
