A 1956 motion lamp by L.A. Goodman Mfg Co. This is the ‘Forest Fire’ scene with a fire in the background and two bucks in the foreground. The rotating shade is illuminated by the bulb inside to look like the fire is in motion.These lamps became extremely popular during the 1950’s when TV lamps were in high demand. The shade is a drum style made with a louvered or fan blade top so that the heat from the bulb rising through the top louvers would slowly turn the shade. This is a rare piece. In working condition.
