Kawase Hasui "Snow at Nezu Gongen Shrine" Woodblock Print

A lovely Hasui Kawase Snow at Nezu Gongen Shrine originally created in 1933. Kawase (1883-1957) was a prominent Japanese painter and one of the chief printmakers in the shin-hanga movement. The print depicts the temple in the snow with a woman and child under an umbrella in the foreground. Character letters and chop mark are in the lower left. It is presented under glass in a thin gilt frame with red matting; ready to hang.
