Robert Kasimir Color Etching of Vienna Opera
Item Details
A circa 1950s multi-plate color aquatint etching of the Vienna Palace gate by Robert Kasimir. Kasimir (1914-2002) son of renown etcher Luigi Kasimir, served as a consultant for the Austrian government. This etching depicts a scene with the Vienna Opera House in the background. The print is signed in pencil in the lower margin. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with gilt interior rim and beige matting; ready to hang.
