Wedgwood Edward VIII Coronation Mug
Item Details
A ceramic mug released by Wedgwood to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII of Britain. It features an image of Edward in profile, surrounded by a wreathe, with a crown above his head and a banner reading ‘Edward VIII 1937’ below, all in white against the characteristic Wedgwood royal blue background. The opposite side of the mug features the British royal crest. The underside of the piece has impressed marks reading ‘Wedgwood’ and ‘Made in England’.
