Item Details

A vintage, electric tin train, the Overland Express 3140 by Modern Toys. The train has a hollow tin body and runs on four fixed wheels and two pivoting wheels. The back of the train features a hinged battery compartment and an on/off switch. The train is powered by three D batteries and was made in Japan, listed under patent numbers 557116 and 701170.

Condition

The body of the train is rusted. One of the pivoting wheels is broken. The main connection in the battery compartment is missing. The train is untested.
