A pair of vintage prints by Roger Tory Peterson. Known for his ornithological work, Peterson (American, 1908-1996) was a leading voice in 20th century environmentalism. These prints, copyrighted 1942 by the Quaker State Lithographing Company Inc., are titled Meal Time and Magnolia Time. Magnolia Time, plate number 102, depicts a pair of cardinals. Meal Time, plate number 104, depicts a pair of rose-beaked grosbeaks. Both prints are set in painted wooden frames behind glass.

Condition

The paper of both prints is yellowed due to age. Light scuffs and wear to the frames.
