A vintage Universal 400 DeLuxe Automatic sewing machine and table. This sewing machine is a made in Japan Universal DeLuxe Automatic marked to bottom ‘28839’ and it is housed in a maple convertible table. The table has a hinged top, lower swing-out door with an attached tray for sewing notions, spindle legs and brass capped feet. Included are two boxes of notions, a vintage dress pattern and an original instruction manual.
Condition
The sewing machine needs rewired as the cord is damaged, belt missing, untested. The cabinet has scuffs, discoloration and finish damage.
