St. Nicholas Scribner’s Illustrated Magazine published by Scribner & Co. in 1879. The book was conducted by Mary Mapes Dodge and contains dozens of short stories, profusely illustrated with both full page illustrations and hundreds of vignettes. The red cloth binding is ornately embossed in gold and black on the cover and spine.

Condition

The binding is tight but the exterior boards show some wear. The interior pages are clean with light toning and very little foxing.
